According to the Statute of the Anna Lindh Foundation, this is the legal description of the Anna Lindh Foundation:
In line with the agreements of the Euro-Mediterranean Conferences and Mid Term Meetings of Foreign Ministers in Valencia, 22-23 April 2002, in Crete 26-27 May 2003, in Naples, 2-3 December 2003 and in Dublin, 5-6 May 2004, the EuroMed Foundation (hereinafter referred to as “the FOUNDATION”) bears the name "The Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for the Dialogue between Cultures". The Foundation has its headquarters in the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in tandem with the Swedish Institute in Alexandria.
The Foundation has legal personality as an international Foundation; registered with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt on the basis of Presidential Decree no. 113/2005 (Annex 1) signed 10 April 2005.
The Foundation shall promote the dialogue between cultures and contribute to the visibility of the Barcelona Process through intellectual, cultural and civil society exchanges.
